Ingredients:
• 2 cups Raw Makhana (Plain Foxnuts)
• 1 litre Full Cream Milk
• 2 tbsp Ghee
• Sugar as per taste
• Cashews & Almonds
• Cardamom Powder
• Saffron
• Pistachios for garnish
How to Make Makhana Kheer:
1. Heat ghee in a pan on low flame.
2. Lightly roast raw makhana, cashews, and almonds until crisp and aromatic.
3. Keep some roasted dry fruits aside for garnish.
4. Crush or grind half of the roasted makhana and dry fruits into a coarse mixture.
5. Boil milk in a deep heavy-bottom pan.
6. Add the crushed makhana mixture into the milk and stir continuously.
7. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron.
